Emmanuel Ben has issued a strict warning to former militant leader Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, demanding an immediate end to online media attacks by his supporters or face a swift resumption of public hostilities.
In a direct statement, Ben warned that he will no longer tolerate continued aggression from Tompolo’s digital loyalists, whom he referred to as "e-rats."
Ben noted that a seven-day media ceasefire had been established to allow for reconciliation and give Tompolo an opportunity to address serious allegations regarding his past, including accusations of kidnapping and murder.
He emphasized that the initiative for these peace talks came directly from Tompolo to resolve these pressing issues.
Ben dismissed Tompolo's media supporters, alleging that none could effectively defend their leader during the height of the dispute despite receiving financial stipends.
He claimed these supporters fear losing their monthly income if peace is achieved, driving their continued attacks.
Ben cautioned that his group reserves the right to release the next phase of disclosures detailing Tompolo's alleged misdeeds while peace talks remain ongoing, stating they will not stand by while online aides provoke them.
Concluding his statement, Ben warned that if Tompolo fails to rein in his media team within 24 hours and respect the ceasefire, his group will match their opponents' energy and fully resume the conflict against the ex-militant leader, maintaining that Tompolo and his associates belongs in jail.
